Son of Alexander P. McCabe (12 Jun 1817 Putnam County, NY - 17 Feb 1894 Saint Johns, MI) and Lydia Ann Hawley (c 1827 - 24 Mar 1882 Saint Johns, MI).

M'CABE—Peter M. McCabe, aged 64 years, died early yesterday morning. The funeral will take place this (Saturday) afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence, 143 West Daly street, the Rev. Charles Rhodes officiating. Interment in Mountain View cemetery.

PETER M'CABE DEAD.
Peter McCabe, 64 years of age, died last night at the family residence, 143 West Daly street, after a lingering illness of several years' duration. He had been a resident of Butte for the last 35 years and was well known and highly respected. He had been in the wood and coal business at Walkerville for a number of years. He was a native of New York state, and leaves a wife and one daughter in Butte, a brother in New York state, a brother in St. John's, Mich., and two nieces at St. John's, Mich. The funeral will be held at the residence Saturday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Charles Rhodes will officiate. Interment will be in Mountain View cemetery.
