Mrs. Nellie Davis Garrett, 76, of 3000 Bob Wallace Ave., died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at West Huntsville Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Sam Wolfe will officiate. Mrs. Garrett was a member of West Huntsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Monroe Davis and Joseph Davis, both of Detroit, Michigan, and George Davis of Huntsville; three daughters, Mrs. Edith H. Smith, Mrs Lola Manning and Mrs. Elnora Johnson all of Huntsville; a brother, John Lamb of Huntsville; a sister, Mrs. Daisey Jones of Rogersville; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
