Funeral services for Mrs. Sudie Edens will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Franklin Top Baptist Church in Augusta with Rev. H. R. Wilson and Rev. A. D. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Post Oak Cemetery.Mrs. Edens died Monday afternoon after a long illness in the home of her daughter on Culverhouse St.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Alberta Aldredge, Mrs. Irene Singletary and Mrs. Minerva Tatum, all of Lufkin, and Mrs. Lula Edens of Jacksonville; son, J. W. Edens of Lufkin; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
