Married Kathleen Wood in 1937, later divorced. Married Edna Rymer in 1950 in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Partner in Investment and Exploration Company, veteran of World War 11, European Theater, 101st Airborne Infantry Division. Awards include the Purple Heart Medal. Member of the D.A.V. received the Eagle Scout Badge B.S.A., member LDS Church.

Survivors: wife, parents, sons and daughters: James Marvin; Bruce M.; Gae Lee; JoAnn Hare; Joyce; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Robert L; Arthur G; 5 sisters: Ila McQuistion; Margaret George; Lois Dowling; Bonita Allgood; Deon Riggs.

Funeral services at Woods Cross Stake, 2064 South 800 West, Thursday, 11 a.m. Friends may call at Union Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Wednesday 6 to 7:30 p.m., and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at Bountiful Memorial Park.
