---OBITUARY---

Victor O. Ferleman, 67, of 404 Sixth S.W., Mason City, Iowa, died Sunday, April 28, 1968, at his home. He was a retired employee of Jacob E. Decker & Sons and had been a part-time employee of Determan Electric Company. He had lived in this community for forty years.

Mr. Ferleman was born November 10, 1900, at Garner, Iowa, the son of William and Emily Solms-Ferleman. He was married to Inez L. Cassel on May 19, 1924, in Garner, Iowa. She passed away on September 2, 1928. They had one son, John William Ferleman.

He was married to Beatrice Fewins on January 1, 1930, in Mason City. He was a member of the Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church of Mason City.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice, four sons, John William of Yuma, Arizona, Peter Victor of Glendale Heights, Illinois, Thomas Carlyle of Winfield, Illinois, and David Ethan of Mason City, Iowa. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Phyllis) Hanson of Mason City, Iowa, Mrs. Richard (Frances) Russell of Win-field, Illinois, Beatrice and Bethene, both at home, five grandchildren, two brothers, Herman and Earl Ferleman of Mason City, Iowa, and one sister, Mae Ferleman of Mason City, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Inez, two daughters who died in infancy, his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tues-day, at the Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church, with the Rev. Harlen Stenberg officiating. The organist will be Mrs. George Gooder. Pallbearers selected are Fred Gavel, Kenneth Briggs, George Scheef, Larry Donaghy, Lyle Sliger and Kenneth Carey. Mrs. Bruce Angell is in charge of flowers.

A duet will be sung by Mrs. Lyle DeGraw and Mrs. Harlen Stenberg.

Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery, Garner, Iowa. Visitation will be after 7:00 p.m., Mon-day, at the Patterson-James Chapel and after 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the church. The Fullerton-Patterson-James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
