Seborne Emory Golden was born May 17, 1870 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. He was the son of Andrew Jackson "Black Jack" Golden, III and Mary Ann Hathcock. Seborne Golden married Anna Elizabeth Hendricks, in 1888, in Tallapoosa County. Annie was born October 23, 1873 in Alabama. She was the daughter of William Hardnick "Doc" Hendricks and Sara Ann Cox. Seaborne and Anna Golden moved their family to Bosque County about 1893.

Annie died on March 1, 1915 and was buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Iredell, Bosque Co., TX. Seaborne remarried to Clara Rinda Blue, the widow of Bill Jones and the daughter of Winfield Scott Blue, Sr. & Symantha Elizabith (Gibson) Blue.

Note: They had 11 children
