Benjamin Harrison "Ben" Swank was born on October 18, 1890 near Niotaze, Chautaugue Co., Kansas and died on May 15, 1918 in Oklahoma . Benjamin was married on May 6, 1893 in Bartlesville, Washington Co., Oklahoma to Lonnie B. Newton (daughter of Robert Martin Newton and Sallie Ellen Terrell). Lonnie was born on November 1, 1896 and died on January 4, 1986. Benjamin was an odd job laborer in 1910. Benjamin and Lonnie lived in Strike Axe Twp., Osage Co., Oklahoma in 1910 and in 1917 Benjamin was a shooter at Dewey Portland Cement Rock Company in Dewey, Washington Co., Oklahoma. I have found other records of a Lonnie with the same parents, Lonnie was born on November 1, 1893 in Ballard Co., Kentucky and died on January 4, 1986 in Ballard Co., Kentucky and was buried at the Newton Family Cemetery, Hinkleville, Ballard Co., Kentucky, her parents were buried at the New Liberty Cemetery in Wickliffe, Ballard Co., Kentucky. ~ Contributed by R.
