GENEVA RESIDENT DIES IN HOSPITAL

Charles Hendrickson Rites Will Be Conducted Today

Charles Stapp Hendrickson, 71 year old Geneva resident, died at the W. S. Major hospital Sunday morning at 11:20 o'clock. He had been ill since Christmas and in a critical condition for a week.
Mr. Hendrickson was the son of Thomas E. and Mary Ellen (Gibson) Hendrickson and was born in Noble township on August 19, 1877. On June 26, 1900, he was married to Eva Elliott whose death occurred on July 4, 1948.
Five children born to the union survive. They are Mrs. Paul Talbert and Mrs. Eklar Reed of this city; Sherman Hendrickson of Spencer; John of Kennewick, Washington, and William R., of Geneva. Also surviving are five grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Hendrickson of Adams; Anderson Hendrickson of Geneva, and Walter of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Mook, Shelbyville and Mrs. Donna Hopper of Indianapolis.
Mr. Hendrickson was a member of the Geneva Methodist church where funeral services will be held Tuesday with the Rev. S. J. Cross and Rev. Clarence Hager will officiate and burial will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery in charge of Murphy Mortuary.
