Roger Brown's parents were: Roy and Estle (Seitz)Brown.
He married Jan. 16, 1954 in Sidney, IA. to Barbara Jean Thomas.
Roger served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was a resident of Union, NE. and worked at the Wilson Meat Packing Plant in Omaha before working at Lyman-Richy Sand and Gravel Co. In later years he owned and operated the Wander In Bar in Union.
In Jan. of 2007 he moved to Auburn, NE. He died at the age of 74 years.
Surviving are his wife Barbara, daughter Debra Breazile and husband Bob all of Auburn, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren: brother-in-law Frank Gannaway, Louisville. other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, son Kurt Dale Brown; brothers Charles (Willie) Brown and Billie Joe Brown, and sisters Neva Waltermire, Helen Surface and Phyllis Gannaway.
Funeral services held Aug. 21, 2007 at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City.
