Mabel Beales, County Native
Mabel Ann Beales, 84 of Arcola and formerly of Leesburg, died Oct. 20 in Loudoun Memorial Hospital, Leesburg.
A Loudoun native, Mrs. Beales was a daughter of Joseph and Florence Brown Carlisle.
She was the wife of the late Henry J. Beales.
Surviving are the following children, Cecil O. Pierce of Hillsville, Richard H. and Alvin C. Beales of Sterling, Janet V. Harper of Tazewell, Florence E. Marcus of Carlisle, Pa., Evelyn M. Pangle of Arcola, Lillian A. Carlisle, Rosa C. Jewell and Doreen M. Philyaw, all of Leesburg, one sister Adeline Nash of Columbus, Ohio, and nieces and nephews, Roger and Donald Butts and Gary Nash of Columbus, Ohio and Anna Lee Moore of Hyattsville, Md. and Albert N. and Gary Carlisle of Leesburg; and 75 grandchldren and great-grandchildren.
Service were held Oct. 24 from the Muse-Reed-Bange Funeral Home, Leesburg, with the Rev. Russell Marcus, Sr. officiating. Interment was in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
