Westend Farmer Passes Away
Abe Anderson, who had been a patient at the local hospital for a couple of weeks, passed away there Thursday about the noon hour. He had been in poor health for a year or two and death came as a relief. He leaves a wife and six year old boy. He has relatives in Norway from which country he emigrated years ago. His age at time of death was 37 years three months, and 17 days.
Mr. Anderson was a successful farmer and owned a farm in the east side of Jefferson Township about 10 miles northwest of this city. He was well liked by all who knew him and will be a loss to the community as well as to his family.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at Midway Church and was largely attended by neighbors and friends.
