MR. WALTER RICHARD LESTER, JR. – AGE 66, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Walter Richard Lester, Sr., Mrs. Jewell Moon Lester, and sister, Mrs. Barbara Jean Lester. He was a member of The Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors are his loving family, wife of thirty-eight years, Mrs. Anita Faye Reynolds Lester; son, Mr. Richard Allen (Andrea R.) Lester; two daughters, Ms. Leslie Annette Lester, Mrs. Keysha N. (Brandon M.) Simpson, of Dalton, Georgia; three grandchildren, Breonna Bonds, Keylyn Lester, Keonn Webb; two aunts, Mrs. Mae Macklin, Ms. Jessie Lester; five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 p. m. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Brother Donald Stewart officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 a. m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a. m. – 2:00 p. m. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
