MRS. EVELYN LOUISE BAKER, aged 53, Leitersburg, widow of Edward W. Baker, died at Washington County Hospital Monday afternoon.
She was born in Leitersburg, the daughter of Charles R. Hoffman and Mrs. Mary Hollinger Newcomer. She had resided in Leitersburg all her life.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Grace Brethren Church and secretary of the church WMC. She was last employed by the United Insurance Co.
Besides her parents she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rowena Blickenstaff; a son, Donald Eugene Baker, both of Leitersburg; sisters, Mrs, Mildred Patterson, Leitersburg; Mrs. Isabel Ross and Mrs. Edna Watkins, both of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Maxine Hoffman of York, Pa.; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Norment Funeral Home, Potomac Ave. Ext., Letitersburg Pike, at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert Collitt officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pa.
Friends may call at the Norment Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
