Funeral Services were held Monday afternoon in the First Methodist Church for Larry HOCKING, who died in the University Hospital of Oklahoma City on Saturday, April 24.
The child had been a victim of leukemia for more than a year, but had apparently made a remarkable recovery from the disease. He became quite ill several weeks ago, however, and had been in the Oklahoma City hospital for more than two weeks.
He celebrated his fourth birthday on April 04.
Rev. A. B. Cockrell conducted the final rites. Pallbearers were Edwin MALANEY, Bob HOLT, Grover CRUM and Hal CHASE.
Survivors include the parents; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. THRASHER; and the paternal grandfather, J. R. HOCKING of Riverside, California.
Interment was made in the Ochiltree Cemetery.
