Funeral for Dessie Mildred Glenn, 68, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Waymon Fike officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Glenn died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born March 23, 1932, in Limestone County. She was a nurse assistant.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Glenn; one son, Rex Glenn; four daughters, Becky Williams, Ruth Johnson and Katharine Moreau, all of Decatur, and Teresa Stokes of Birmingham; two brothers, Lavon Burchell of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jim Burchell of Lafayette, Ind.; three sisters, Bell Ayers and Virginia Kelso, both of Decatur, and Joyce Macey of Indiana; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Adam Glenn, Scott Williams, Len Cox, Jeff Williams, Jeff Johnson, Ron Stokes and Carlton McMasters.

Memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 4506 Norris Mill Road, Decatur, AL 35603.
