Elmore Gray died at his home southwest of Wayland, Friday, June 28, 1912, at 5 o'clock a. m. aged 60 years. The funeral was held Saturday at 4 p. m. Interment in the Frazee cemetery. Mr. Gray was born in Lee county, Iowa, and came to Missouri in 1863, locating on the farm where he lived the remainder of his days. He was married to Miss Rosa Riney, daughter of John Riney. She preceded him in death a number of years. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Jacob Miller, John Gray, Guerdon Gray, of this county, Reuben Gray, of Burnside, Ill., and Allen Gray of Illinois.
