Mr. Ditch was born in the county and was the son of John Ditch and Margaret Beck Ditch.
He was married to Nellie Wingert and she too has been making her home in Evansville due to illness.
Mr. Ditch was a carpenter by trade and lived in southeast Olney township for a long period of time.
He leaves his wife, Nellie, and five children: Mrs. Freda Tarvin of Evansville, Alva Ditch of Fairbanks. Alaska, Mrs. Wilma Jean Goss and Everett Ditch, both of Olney, and Mrs. Beulah Bander of Long Beach, Cal. There are 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Nora Tungate of Evansville, Ind.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Delbert and Shelby Ditch.
