Arlene Cheney of East Dundee died October 19, 2000 from complications of Alzheimers.

She is survived by five sons, John of Woodstock, James (Jeanie) of Elgin, Jeffrey (Etta) of Missouri, Jerome of Elgin, Jayson of Elgin; daughter, Janice Cheney of Morton, IL; brother, George M. Furst of Florida; sister, Marianne Milbrandt of Arizona; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of three.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband John whom she married on December 29, 1950. Her parents Fredrick and Eulalia "Petitjean" Furst; Sisters Leona Evans and Lidwenna Furst.

Funeral Monday 10:30 AM at Community Funeral Home, located on Rt. 25, between Rts. 72 and 68, East Dundee. Burial River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee. Visitation at the funeral home Sunday 5-9 PM. Memorials to Alzheimers Foundation.
