Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at the Glad Tidings Church. Reverend Bill Walker of the Glad Tidings Church will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be James Cook, Jason Cook, Christopher Reynolds, Josh Eagle, Eric Eagle, Donald Lick, Dan Cooley, and Sid Terry. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at the church. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Carol was born on December 26, 1938, in Iowa City, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Barton Evans. She married Donald Lyle Reynolds in 1960, in Muscatine.
Carol at one time worked for Heinz. She also worked at the Lutheran Homes, Muscatine Care Center, and We Care where she cared for the elderly.
She was a life member of the Glad Tidings Church. Carol loved nature, animals and taking care of lost souls.
Survivors include three sons, Donald Reynolds and wife, Gail, of Fort Worth, Texas, Brad Reynolds of Muscatine, and Brian Reynolds and girlfriend, Autumn, of Muscatine; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Evans of Omaha, Nebraska, and Frank Evans of Nichols; and three sisters, Iris Sullivan of Muscatine, Shirley Cook of Muscatine, and Judy Cooley of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Johnathan and several siblings.
