Lucille was born at Dover on August 11, 1915 to George Albert and Maud Cheney Phillips and died Monday March 22, 2010 at her home in Morrison.
She married Melvin Floyd Berkenbile in Enid on March 10, 1934.
Lucille was a nurse at the Kingfisher County Health Department for twenty-four years. She was a member of the Happy Homemakers, Hennessey Senior Citizens Center, Oak View Grange and the Dover Christian Church.
She is survived by one son Phillip Lee Berkenbile and wife Linnie Marie Yost Berkenbile; one granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Arlene Berkenbile Wehrenberg and husband Erich Wehrenberg all of Morrison; one grandson Robert John Edward Berkenbile and wife Laura Croy Berkenbile of Frisco, Texas; two great-grandchildren Nathan Tyler Wehrenberg and Madelyn Ann Wehrenberg; one sister-in-law Christine Phillips of Kingfisher; one brother-in-law Leo Berkenbile of Skiatook; ten nieces and nephews Larry Davis, Leo, David, Judy and Nancy Berkenbile, Mary Talley, Charlie Berkenbile, Karen Lou Keeton, Billie Ann Silvers, Sargie Berkenbile and Shirley Kay Luker.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Melvin, two sisters and two brothers.
