Harry Willoughby, brother-in-law of John D. Renshler, local funeral director, died at 9:30 o'clock last night at the residence of his sister, three and one-half miles northwest of Upper Sandusky. He suffered a stroke of paralysis yesterday morning which caused his death. He had been in failing health, however for two years.
Mr. Willoughby formerly lived in Findlay. For a number of years he owned and operated the Mecca hotel in Sandusky. While living in Findlay he worked at the Axe and Tool company, the Wire Nail mill and at other industries here.
His parents were Benjamin Willoughby and Maranda DeBolt Willoughby. He married Miss Ella Renshler September 14, 1892.
Two survive sisters are Mrs. Henry Alspach of Upper Sandusky, and Mrs. Emerson Gilliland, who lives in California.
Mr. Willoughby was a member of the Eagle lodge and the K. of P. lodge, both of Sandusky.
Funeral services were held at the Renshler's Funeral Home. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
