William Stanford Adams, age 82, passed away July 8, 1998 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, of a stroke.
Born August 13, 1915 in Meadow, Utah, the only son of William George and Lucy Bell Bennett. He married Nancy Helen Wade, December 1, 1944.
Survived by his wife and daughter, Stella Sue Adams; and grandchildren, Jeffery, Jeremy, Jay and Jillian Udy; and many more loving and caring in-laws, nieces and nephews, who were a very important part of his life.
In Bill's long life, he had the opportunity to work for various employers in Salt Lake City and Fillmore. Amongst the highlights he fondly remembered were; the Stott Brothers, Mark Paxton, The First Presbyterian Church (where he was featured in Dan Valentine as a very helpful and caring person), The Salt Lake Tribune, and The Medident Building, where he retired from in 1980.
Preceded in death by parents and six sisters, Glenda, LaRue, Pearl, Mirinda, Ina and Babe (Percival).
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 1998, 1 p.m. in the Fillmore 4th Ward, Fillmore, Utah. Friends may visit with the family at 11:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will take place in the Meadow Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore.
