YOUNG MAN DIES AFTER SEVEN YEARS IN BED AS RESULT OF INJURY
Isaac Monroe Alexander, 35 years old, died at the home of his sister a mile and a half north of Waverly at 1 o'clock Wednesday morning. He had been confined to his bed for seven years as the result of an injury. He is the son of Benjamin Alexander. The funeral will be held at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Balmer's undertaking parlors.

His parents, Benjamin Alexander & Annie Catherine Bird were married Aug. 4, 1881, in Susan, Texas County, Missouri. She died in 1889 at the age of 24. Together they had the following children: Cecil, Katie & Monroe.
Annie died March 2, 1889 & the following year in February 1890, a daughter, Nora was born to Benjamin & ? He married Helen Josephine Fowler April 2, 1893, so unsure who Nora's biological mother was.
