Dies While Visiting Son

Thomas Shohoney died Friday afternoon at the home of his son on South Ash street. Mr.Shohoney was seventy-six years old at the time of his death which was due to paralysis. He had been ill for only a short time, but he had been poorly for several years. Mr. Shohoney came to North Platte with his wife about a month ago from Hannibal, Mo., to visit his son. He was taken sick while here, and was unable to return home. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and one son, William Shohoney of this city.The funeral was held Sunday afernoon at 2 o'clock from the Christian church, and H.G.Knowlos, pastor,officiated. A large number attended the funeral and the floral tributes were profuse and beautiful. Interment was in North Platte cemetery.
