Pauline N. Wishard, wife of Clarence R. Wishard, 138 Ridge avenue, Waynesboro, died at the Waynesboro hospital Thursday evening at 6 o'clock after a long illness, aged 44 years. Born in Sabillasville, Md., she was the daughter of Mrs. Mamie Manahan Birely and the late Thomas E. Birely. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church and the Women's Bible class. Surviving, besides her husband are a son, Joseph R., at home; her mother, also at home; a brother, Maxwell Birely, Rouzerville, and a sister, Mrs. Madeline Bair, Fair Haven, Va.

Funeral services will he held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Poe funeral home in Waynesboro, the Rev. Dr. B. Clinton Ritz officiating, assisted by the Rev. Edward P. Heinze. Interment will be in Green Hill cemetery, Waynesboro. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon between 3:30 and 3 o'clock.
