HOMER EARNEST WATSON, the 26 months old son of Clarence and Ella Fox Watson, was bitten two times by a rattlesnake and died Friday August 5, 1921, after twenty hours of intense suffering. While riding in a wagon being pulled by his brother, the child had been bitten by a large rattler and although many remedies were tried, nothing could save him.
Little Homer was born June 11, 1919 in Hodgeman County. He was 2 yrs., 1 month and 24 days old and is survived by his parents, Clarence and Ella and his sister, Minnie and brother Joseph. He was buried at Fairmount Cemetery.
