She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church. She united in marriage to J.C. Allen who preceded her in death March 12, 1989. She is survived by 1 daughter and 2 sons: Judy Huber & husband Finis of Mt. Washington, Nicky Allen & wife Loretta and Don Allen of Raywick; 9 grandchildren: Kim Wheeler, Jennifer Dooley, Dana Chissom, Johnny Allen, Kathy Smith, Michael Allen, Todd Allen, Jamie Knopp and John Knopp; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister, Otis Skaggs of Earlville, IL and Esteleen Wright of Greensburg and nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by 1 son and 1 daughter, Gary Allen and Pat Knopp and 5 brothers and 2 sisters: Robert Skaggs, Leslie Skaggs, Bill Skaggs, Floyd Skaggs, Walter Ray Skaggs, Marie Thompson and Alice Sprowles. Visitation: after 5 p.m., Sunday. Funeral service: 11 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. Jimmy York and Rev. Otis C. Skaggs. Burial: Mt.
