Born September 4, 1901, in Bridgeport, she and Albert Acker were married January 8, 1951, in Dallas. She lived in Olney for forty years and was a member of First Baptist Church and in earlier years was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and Garden Club.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jim Acker of Longview and Sid Acker of Arlington; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
