The funeral for Violet Ramsey Huss, 80, of Chase City, and formerly of Henry, who died January 28, 2005, will be held 7:00 pm today at Wood Funeral Service with visitation to follow. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday in the Will Tom Ramsey Cemetery in Henry. She was born August 31, 1924, in Franklin County to Will Tom Ramsey and Betty Love Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Huss; four brothers, Glennis Ramsey, Jack Ramsey, Tenny Ramsey and Hudson Ramsey; and three sisters, Celestia Miles, Gertrude Blakley and Joyce Crawford. She retired from Burlington Industries. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Powell of Franklin; a son, Billy Huss of Scottsburg; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
