Marie was born Febr. 14, 1849 in Bjerge Vester Flakkebjerg Soro Denmark to Jens Pedersen and Karen Jorgensen.
Marie married Christen Larsen Aug 1875 in Bjerge Soro Denmark

children: Anna b. 1876, Kristina b. 1886, Christian b. 1888 and James Peter b. 1878 and a son Hans Christian Valdemar he was born in 1882 & died in Denmark, also a step son Hans Larsen who lived in Wyoming.

Marie, Christen and 3 children came to America in 1899. They lived in Howard County 2 years and then to Garfield County until 1910. They came to Valley County where they resided the rest of their lives.
