SHEFFIELD -- The funeral for Lillie Lou Chaney, 98, 1200 Annapolis Ave., will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Southwest Community Church with Virgil Tittle officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home, Sheffield, directing.
Visitation will be at 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
She died Saturday, April 9, 1994, at Parkway Medical Center, Decatur.
She was a lifelong resident of Colbert County, and member of Nitrate City Baptist Church.
Survivors include son, Liona Chaney, Sheffield; daughters, Annie Lou Beaver; Leighton, Christine Smith, Wisconsin, 37 grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
