Was born to Elijah Samuel Harper and Susan (Susannah) Huff
Silvers (first marriage name) Harper.
He was named after his father which made him a junior.
He was born 18 Jan 1840 in Illinois. He moved with his family from Illinois to Texas. Found in Victoria, Texas on 1850 Census.
Family moved to Wilson County, Texas between 1850 and 1860.
On 1860 census they are in Wilson Co, Texas.
Elijah married Sarah E (maybe Elizabeth) Hedrick.
They had the following children;
1. Alva b. 1861
2. Liddie b. 1863
3. Clara b. 1864
4. Arthur b. 1866
5. Ida b. 1868
6. William Hedrick b. 1870 *** G-Grandfather to Samuel Bundrick
7. Sallie b. 1872
8. Edmond b. 1874
9. Thomas 1877
Their mother Sarah Hedrick Harper died in 1879.

Elijah then married Lucinda Griffith Rhode widow of Thomas Cicero Rhode of Lavaca County, Texas. Thomas buried Shiloh Cemetery, Lavaca County, Texas. Lucinda moved her 6 children to Wilson County, to be with her family that had moved there.
In 1883 she married Elijah Harper.
They had one son.
1. Cicero Hugh b. 1884.

She died in 1890 and is buried in Floresville City Cemetery, tombstone reads Lucinda Griffith Rhode.
Elijah died in 1927.

Sons; Alva, Edmond & Cicero Hugh are buried in this Cemetery.
Son; William Hedrick is buried in Stockdale Cemetery, Wilson County, Texas
Daughter;
Sallie Harper Franklin buried at; Floresville City Cemetery, Wilson County, Texas
