Margaret Louise Schneider, 73, of Sterling, died March 4,
1997, in Fort Collins. The visitation will be until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Tennant Funeral Home. There will be a vigil and rosary service at 6 p.m. Thursday at Tennant. The funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in her memory in care of the Tennant Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1547, Sterling.
Mrs. Schneider was born Aug. 14, 1923, to Alvin and Emma (Waterman) Stroup in Holyoke. She lived in Haxtun until 1929, and attended schools in Haxtun and Sterling.
She married Alexander Schneider on Nov. 25, 1940 in Sterling. She worked for St. Benedict's Hospital and Logan County Hospital as a nurse. They farmed in the Ovid-Sedgwick area for nine years, and for two years near Sterling. She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Schneider of Sterling and Rick Schneider of Englewood; a daughter JoAnn Wisdom of Sterling; a brother Bill Stroup of Sterling; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son, Lawrence.
