Willard S. Angell passed quietly away yesterday morning at eight o’clock, succumbing after a three years’ illness to Bright’s disease of the kidneys. For more than a year he had been practically bedfast.
Mr. Angell was born Jan. 3, 1831 in Shenango (Chenango) County, New York, and was united in marriage Dec. 29, 1852. He moved to Illinois from New York, thence to Leavenworth County in 1870, since which time he has resided here. His wife and two sons survive.
Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church this afternoon at two o’clock, by Rev. Kelsall, of Reno. Tonganoxie Mirror, Thursday, 22 October, 1891.
