Delbert "Bert" Glenn Handyside, 62, of Wheeling died September 26, 2000 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville.
    He was born January 28, 1938 in Zion, IL. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He had worked for Abbott Labs for over ten years as a design draftsman.
    Survivors are: his wife, Nancy Marie (nee Davis); his step-daughters: Pam (Glen) Treiber, Susan (John) Japuntich, and Kathy (Ken) Antal; his grandchildren: Heather, Ryan and Sarah; his brothers, Harold (Pauline) and Clarence, and a sister, Caroline Handyside Juresk.
    Visitation Friday noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at MEADOWS FUNERAL HOME, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Info: (847) 253-0224.
