Homer E. Buzard, 89, of 110 Chestnut St., Rimersburg, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at Clarview Rest Home, Sligo, following an extended illness.
Born Aug. 8, 1902, in Madison Township, Clarion County, he was a son of Thomas A. and Emily C. Traister Buzard.
He was a locomotive engineer with the Pennsylvania Railroad until his retirement.
Mr. Buzard was affiliated with Rimersburg United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the United Mine Workers of America and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys R. Hawk Buzard, whom he married Aug. 24, 1924; three sons., Homer Buzsrd Jr. of Rimersburg, Stanley Buzard of Erie and Thomas Buzard of Midway; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Greta) Bowser of Grove City and Mrs. Ronald (Nancy) Hankey of At6lantic; a sister, Margaret Swartz of Penfield; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by five sisters; two brothers, an infant son, and two infant grandchildren.

BUZARD--Friends of Homer E. Buzard of 110 Chestnut t., Rimersburg, who died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1991, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, at Kline Funeral Home, Rimersburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Easton, pastor of Rimersburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rimersburg Cemetery. Arrangement by J. Robert Varner.
