She is the wife of John Blythe Thurman and the mother of 11 children. She has a son, Berry Thurman, at Lamar, who is a prominent attorney in Barton county and some years ago represented his senatorial district in the senate. Mrs. Thurman has a sister in Morgan county, Mrs. Jane Bowlen aged 82 {should be Elizabeth}, and a brother at Latham, in this county, {William} Logan Allee, who reached 80 years last month.
