Daughter of Ebenezer Howes and Sarah Gorham.
She died sometime after 1748.
Family historical records list specifically "Gemini", Barnstable MA with a date of Jan 22 1699. This record is part of the Sears family history passed down through Thomas Sears of Monticello, WI.
Thomas and Sarah were definitely twins, born on Jan 22,1699/1700. The date is an old style date. Until 1752, March 25 was considered the new year. Before that dates in January, February and early march were referred to with either the prior year or a "double date" with both years presented. They were really born in 1700 by our present day reckoning, but some records indicated it to be 1699. As an example, we are all taught that George Washington was born Feb 22,1732. In reality the records of his birth indicated he was born in Feb 1731/2.

Find A Grave has never facilitated the old style dates, so the appropriate year to be entered is the latter year, in this case, 1700.

Some geneaologies do refer to her as Sarah Gorham Howes, but this is probably due to the large number of Sarah Howeses in Cape Cod at the time, and a need to differentiate her from the others. Middle names for females did not come in to vogue until the early 1800s, and were exceedingly rare prior to the late 1700s, and almost nonexistent before that.
