Runie Lee Manning, 92, passed away March 31, 2010, at Laramie Care Center, Laramie Wyoming. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 5, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A funeral service is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at the funeral chapel. She will be buried next to her husband Arthur at Plainview Cemetery, Madison County, Texas.

Runie was born on October 25, 1917 in Normangee, Texas to William Dallas Guinn and Margaret "Maggie" Windsor. A former resident of Clute, Texas, Denver, Colorado for many years and later Loveland, Colo., she recently moved to Cheyenne, Wyo. to live with her son and family. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clute City Chapter No. 1011 in Clute and the Collins Chapter No. 26 in Loveland.

Runie was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Henry Arthur Manning, who passed away July 27, 1992; her parents; brothers, Jesse Pierce Guinn, Albert Joel Guinn and Seth Martelle Guinn and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Martin, Willie Fay Guinn and Lena Mae Thomas.

Survivors include her son, Arthur Lee Manning and wife Katherine, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; grandsons, Christopher Manning and wife, Sandra of Loveland, Colo. and Benjamin Manning and wife, Erica of Cheyenne, Wyo. and great-grandsons, Kyle Manning, Zachary Blooding and Jaiden Manning.
