Mr. Pridgen died Friday night, September 1, 2000, at his home. He was born in Houston County to W. T. and Edith Pridgen. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force and was in the service during World War II. He was a real estate broker, a member of the Grapeland Lodge 473 AF & AM and the Shriner Arabia Temple in Houston.
Mr. Pridgen was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Eleanor Elise Pridgen, and a brother Harry C. Pridgen.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Darsey Pridgen of Grapeland, and a son, Brent Pridgen of Grapeland.
