ADDISON, JIMMIE ANDREW

A native and resident of Independence, he died at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at Hood Memorial Hospital, Amite. He was 79. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Religious services at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by Brother Don McGee. Interment in Ford Cemetery, Independence. Survived by his wife, Ethel Cutrer Addison, Independence; three daughters, Nina Ploof and Mary Jo Muscarello, both of Independence, and Robin Guillot, Slidell; two sons, Jack Addison, Ponchatoula, and Jamie Addison, Independence; five grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Marcus Muscarello, Veronica Ploof and Brock Guillot; a sister, Carleen Hayden, Tucson, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Mary Cuti Addison; parents, William Israel Addison and Nina Bennett Addison; three brothers, Floyd, Bill and Arthur Addison; a sister, Lurlene Hendon; and two infant sisters.
