Funeral Services for Lula Bell Judd, age 82, will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Cheyenne Valley Methodist Church. The Reverend Marvin Stuckey will officiate. Burial will follow at the Lone Star Cemetery in Cheyenne Valley. Local arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday at Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. Lula Bell Judd was born April 27, 1928 in Togo, Oklahoma to Sam and Ester Cora (Hoffman) Inman and passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview, Oklahoma. Lula started school in Togo and finished at Cheyenne Valley. After graduation she drove bus for the Cheyenne Valley School. Lula married Robert Roy Judd in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, on March 21, 1947, after he returned home from Europe. They made their home on a farm near Bouse Junction, where she helped Roy farm and ranch. They were blessed with three children, daughter Theona and two sons Ron and Sidney. For the next 18 years, they lived all around the Cheyenne Valley area. Lula drove bus for the Waynoka Schools and worked as a teacher's aide from 1969 until she retired in 1985. Her husband Roy passed away on January 30, 2010 at that time Lula moved to the Fairview Fellowship Home and remained until her death. Lula was a member of the Waynoka Methodist Church. She loved to crochet and made many different items. Lula is survived by one daughter, Theona and husband Greg Sanchez of Snowflake, Arizona, two sons, Ron Judd and wife Verna of Helena, Oklahoma and Sidney Judd and Jo of Waynoka; two brothers, Bill Inman of Fairview, Rolos Inman and wife Darlene of Waynoka; one sister, Rose Conner; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Lula was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy Judd; one sister, Marjorie Stewart; and one brother, Ray Inman. Memorials may be made to the Cheyenne Valley Methodist Church with Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian.
