Richard Thomas Baker, 71, for thirty years a merchant in Highland Park, died at 4:40 o'clock Saturday, 09-29-1928 at his home, 314 Hiawatha Street. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Melvina Baker; a son, William T. Baker; two daughters, Mrs. Cora Middleton and Mrs. Pearl Williams; a brother, George A. Baker; sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and at 2 o'clock at the Highland Park Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will be at Herbert Cemetery.
