My Beloved Mother

Annie Ruth Wright, was the daughter of Martha Brown and the late William Brown. She was born on March 3, 1933, in Buckingham, Virginia. She departed this life as we know on Saturday, April 5, 1997 at 2:50 A.M., at home after a brief illness and suffering in this life.

God saw the road was getting rough
The hills were hard to climb,
So God opened His hands and said
" It is time "
Its time to come on home now my child.
Come on and there will be rest.
No more pain and no more suffering
You will have peace at last, peace for eternity

At an early age, Ann was baptized at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Farmville, Va. before coming to Baltimore, Maryland.

Ann received her early education in Farmville, Va. before coming to Balitmore, Md. where she completed it the school system here. She work at The Albion Hotel for twenty-seven years before retiring in 1984.

Ann devoted her entire life to her four sons and her mother, always making sure they had. She was always giving to friends or who ever was in need rather it was a meal, money or just an ear to listen to their problems. She will be sincerely missed by everyone's life whose life she touch.

Ann leaves to cherish in her memory: her loving and devoted mother Mrs. Martha Brown; four sons John, James, Randy and Rodney Wright; four grandchildern, Gregg, Kizzy, Johntanvis and Randy Wright; one beloved sister Mrs. Alberta Carter; one beloved brother Mr. Leon Brown, her sister Mrs. Mary Jane Rose preceded her in death; two brothers-in-law, Mr. James Carter and Mr. Gordon Rose; one sister-in-law Mrs. Yolanda Brown; five nieces; three nephews; four aunts; one uncle; a host of cousins and friends.

To My Beloved Daughter
I gave you life and you made me proud. Now that you are gone, it hurts so bad. I sit around at night just waiting to hear your voice, but I know I won't. I ask why, but I know that the Lord doesn't make mistakes. He was ready for you and it was your time to let you go. You are my daughter, my heart and I will never forget you.
Your Lovingly Mother

To Our Mother
You were always so loving and kind;
Always kept the family in mind
The mark you left will never disappear;
You are our mother
And will always be here.
