Ophelia Katie Warner was the daughter of Atha Gregory Hudson and Catherine Ann Elizabeth Shipp Lander. She was the wife of Cicero Berlin Warner. Died at the home of her son, W. B. Warner, in Denver, Colo., Sunday, September 14th, 1919, Mrs. Ophelia Katie Warner, wife of C. B. Warner, Newkirk, Okla. Mrs. Warner's maiden name was Hudson. She was born at Sedalia, Mo., March 13, 1862. She was married to C. B. Warner March 17th, 1878. To this union was born five children, two boys and three girls, all are living but one boy. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, four children, one sister, two nieces Mrs. Wm. McAllister and Mrs. O. C. White, one grandson and a host of friends all of whom will miss her. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and placed her membership with the Christian church at Humansville, Mo. Truly hers was a good and pure life for well she lived. When physically able she did what she could to brighten and make happy the lives of all those by whom she was surrounded. She was a kind neighbor, a loving wife and a good mother. The unrestrained and loving sympathy of her friends and community goes to the husband and children and relatives of the departed loved one. The tears of many will be mingled with theirs upon the grave that contains the mortal of this dear mother. The funeral was held at the home of her niece, Mrs. Wm. McAllister in Humansville, Sept. 19th, conducted by Pastor of the Christian church. Her remains were laid to rest in the City Cemetery.
