Cleve "Bill" Lane, 74, died Friday at his home in Jacksboro after a long illness.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Jacksboro. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro.
Lane was born in Jacksboro and attended Jacksboro schools. He was a retired contract builder and had spent several years working in Amarillo and Clarendon before returning to Jacksboro five years ago.
He married Patricia Crain in 1932 in Altus, Okla.
Other survivors include two sons, Tommy Lane of Roanoke and Dr. C. Wilson Lane of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Rachel McNeill of Portland, Texas; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
