Rincon - F.V. "Shine" Holland, 76, died Monday, September 11, 2006 at Memorial Health.

The Burke County native was a member of Rincon United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He retired from Southern Railroad after 20 years and was a former member of Alee Temple Shriners and the Frank Baker Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Green Holland of Rincon; daughter and son-in-law, Jayne and Steve Wood of Rincon; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Sharon Holland of Springfield; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles James Holland of Sardis and Jerry Holland of Pooler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rincon United Methodist Church.

Interment will be in Springfield Cemetery Annex

Remembrances may be given to American Heart Association, 103 N. Cedar Street, Springfield, GA 31329.
