Jim and Flora were married 23 Nov 1910 at Okemah, Oklahoma, where he had lived since 1900. He attended schools in Carr Lane, Stone County, Missouri before moving to Okemah. Jim was a farmer most of his life, and enjoyed wolf hunting as a hobby. In later years he lived at 304 N. 9th Street.
