Arnold, age 90, passed away at his daughter's home in St. Marys. He was the son of Alvin and Margaretha (Wiedemier) Oestmann. He graduated from Grainola (OK) High School and served in the US Navy. He married Mary J. Clary on November 11, 1944, in Omaha. Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Fairchild, his sister, Alvina Frazier, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
