Thomas William "TW' Featherston, 79, who passed away at his home in Mesquite Friday morning after an illness of two years. T W was born in Alabama, but moved to Crandall where he raised his family. For the past 10 years he has lived in Dallas and Mesquite.
Survivors are; his wife, Mrs Christiana Featherston; one son, W.R Featherston of Dallas; six daughters, Mrs. H F McAlpine, of Houston, Mrs. W. J. Lanford, Mrs O.M. Brummett, Mrs. L.M. Gaddis, all of Mesquite, Mrs A.R. Spain, and Mrs. J.A. Gaddis of Dallas; one sister; Mrs Veda Jones of Houston, 26 grandchildern and 40 great-grandchildren. Interment was in Restland Memorial Cemetery.
